GUESS WHAT! I AM ON MY BED WHICH IS NEXT TO THE BATHROOM AND SHOWER!! I am currently in my new hotel room for the next month all by myself in about the space of 1/2 my room at home. this is true simplicity and simple necessity that i have yet to ever experience. but yet again i have internet and the tv has all the newest movies for free! HAHA It is my 3rd day at my new “job” at Lapis Thai ( http://www.lapisthai.com/main.html ) it is very different from the jobs in america… for one I am doing this as experience to learn to socialize with different groups of people and how they interact. GUESS WHAT! the workers in China have a minimum wage of 10RMB which is about $2 an hour! WHEE! my work hours are also from 12PM to 9PM everyday with a 30 min break so MY LEGS AND BACK ARE SO SORE! I dont work on Wednesday though, so my dad can take me out to hang. I swear my english is getting worse, but atleast the waitresses are teaching me chinese! =D  I have had so much good food here in Shanghai and Beijing! Happy Lemon (Lemon drinks sooo yumm) RamenPlay, 85degree Bakery!! WHICH IS LIKE EVERYWHERE!, sushi for about $2 an order of nigiri, delicious curry, and of course the foods on the sides of the street like lamb skewers. hehe YUM!  I miss home so much! =( I miss all the people I love. I FINALLY FOUND INTERNET IN CHINA! 5/24/12

It is so hard to find somewhere that has internet connection because yes they have wifi, but its not really FREE…. you need some kind of username and password to use it… =( ANYWAYS! it has been a few days into my two and a half month trip in China! I will be going to Beijing for a few days then I will be back in Shanghai to work at this five star thai restaurant. yay…(i am not really that excited to work). 

The weather is actually kind of nice right now. not that humid or hot! there is a nice breeze except that it started raining and i definitely did not bring shoes for that… oops. Everything here is pretty darn cheap! it is somewhat ridiculous especially if you convert the rmb to dollars… ($1=6.3 rmb i believe) and you can get a sushi order for 10rmb which is like ~$2! I had so much good food in 2 days it is awesome… 

FYI- since i dont have wifi, i probably can not update instagram either and there is definitely no facebook here!! 

anyways! hopefully the next place i live will have internet! update you soon! =)

Pool update! Pool man came and poured alot of i dont know what! But its cleaner!!!! The water is actually blue! With white foamy stuff on top. It somewhat reminds me of waves crashing and it creates that white foamy stuff

Our pool is broken…. And our pool guy is no where to be seen… The water is so nasty. It looks worse than Lake Eliz. which is saying alot.
